Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
You are doubtless in the process of planning your big day in every detail. Of course, the most important part of the wedding day is the wedding itself – the sacrament administered to one another in the church. You have received or will soon receive materials from St. Catharine’s Church that will assist you in planning your readings and other aspects of your wedding liturgy. The materials on these pages are intended to assist you in planning for your special day.
Although the idea of planning music for an entire Mass or wedding ceremony outside of Mass may seem daunting, please be assured that the process is not difficult, and there is help available at every step.
Take the time to carefully examine the contents of these pages. You will find instructions and suggestions on how to choose music, selections from which to choose, contact information for organist/wedding music coordinator, sample programs, and fee information and church policy regarding music and personnel.
If after reading these pages, you find that you are able to make your music selections with no further assistance (as many people are), you may simply e-mail Kathy Dalton at firstname.lastname@example.org with your information. (E-mail is checked several times daily – responses usually within 24 hours.) If you do not have access to e-mail, you may call St. Catharine’s Business office and leave a message. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. If you need further asistance in preparing your selections, contact Kathy as stated. Please do not leave less than two weeks between finalizing your music selections and your wedding date.
Any questions concerning your wedding music should be referred to Kathy Dalton or to Patrick Dalton (director of music at St. Catharine’s Church.) Both Mr. and Mrs. Dalton can be contacted at email@example.com(your best option) or by leaving a message at St. Catharine’s Business Office.
Important: Please send an e-mail to us at the above address to let us know you are starting the process of reading this section of the website. This e-mail will register you on my list of upcoming wedding liturgies.
