Circle of Comfort
“Carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
(Galatians 6:2)
What We Do
Circle of Comfort is a prayer and support group that is open to anyone who is experiencing or has experienced a serious illness, as well as caregivers. We offer comfort, care and encouragement as we come together in confidentiality to be present to each other. With trusting faith, Circle of Comfort relies on prayer, generous listening, Jesus’ example, and God’s presence during these times of challenge. We encourage an attitude of hope—not false hope, but confidence in God who loves us.
Parishioners Karen Connors and Anna Ursino serve as facilitators for Circle of Comfort; they have been with us for more than 20 years. Please contact conswim@aol.com for any additional information.
