Parish Life/Hospitality
What We Do
St. Catharine’s Parish has many social events that build community, provide a chance to get to know one another better, and to invite others to join us. For further information about these events, watch the parish bulletin and our online calendar. We encourage you to participate in parish events and to bring others with you!
Coffee/Donut Sundays provide parishioners an opportunity to gather after Mass in the spirit of fellowship. They are held monthly from September through June (except December) in the parish hall after the 8:00 am, 9:30 am and 11:00 Masses. Different ministries help with the set-up and clean up each month.
Our Annual Picnic is held annually on our church grounds in the beginning of September. This family event features rides and games for children of all ages, great food and entertainment. The children also have the opportunity to participate in a talent show! All are welcome, just bring a chair, a dessert, and your family and friends! Volunteers are always welcome too.
Nursing Home Luncheon: St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon allows us the opportunity to invite senior citizens from area nursing homes and senior centers to have a meal and entertainment in our Fr. Scheg Center. We decorate festively and provide a hearty meal to our guests in the spirit of hospitality.
