Fall Program Information
2023-2024 Religious Education Program Overview
Grades 1,3,4,5,6,7
In-Person Classes
- Classes will be held September 2023 through April 2024
- Classes will meet every other Wednesday
- Students are expected to attend weekly Sunday mass throughout the year
- Monthly mass reflections are to be submitted
- Families will be required to attend 4 Liturgical/Family events throughout the year
- Finding God & Growing with God curriculum (Loyola Press)
Virtual/Home Study
- Finding God & Growing with God curriculum (Loyola Press)
- One unit will be posted in your child’s Catholic Brain classroom every 4 to 6 weeks.
- Catechist will be recording their lesson. Students should watch each video and answer the questions that follow.
- A Parent Guide will be available for each unit so that parents can assist their child in completing the lessons.
- List of faith activities to choose form to be completed as a family.
- Participate in weekly Sunday Mass throughout the year (Students are required to submit one Mass reflection each month from September through May)
- Participate in 4 Liturgical/Family events throughout the year. There will be many choices for families to choose from. A calendar of options will be distributed in August and will continually be updated as new events become available.

SECOND GRADE SACRAMENT PREPARATION
FIRST RECONCILIATION/FIRST COMMUNION
Wednesdays 4:45 pm- 6 pm
- Classes will be held in-person twice a month
- Blessed First Reconciliation/First Eucharist Curriculum (Dynamic Catholic)
- Supplemental home lessons each month
- List of faith activities to choose from to be completed as a family
- Students are expected to attend weekly Sunday mass throughout the year
- Monthly Mass Reflection submissions
- First Reconciliation/First Eucharist mini retreat opportunities

CONFIRMATION
Sundays 1:15PM-3PM (once a month)
- Classes will be held in person once a month
- Decision Point Curriculum (Dynamic Catholic)
- 10 Service Hours completed prior to receiving the sacrament
- Students are expected to attend weekly Sunday mass throughout the year
- Completion of Confirmation Workbook
- The student and their family will attend a Confirmation retreat
- Submission of Mass Reflections (twice a month)
