Youth Ministry
“Youth ministry is the response of the Christian community to the needs of young people and the sharing of the unique gifts of youth with the larger community.”
Mission Statement
The mission of St. Catharine Youth Ministry is to empower teenagers to live their lives as disciples of Christ, as well as helping them to connect with each other and to the parish community. We promote spiritual growth and development in teenagers by creating a safe and supportive Catholic environment where they can feel comfortable to express and share their faith in Jesus Christ.
We invite all high school teens from 9th grade through 12th grade to join us to connect with other teens from our parish and have fun while we grow together in faith on Sunday evenings from 7-8:30 pm. A calendar will be provided with meeting dates and events. To register, teens and parents just need to fill out a registration package and then join us as often as they can. There is no fee, but all members of the group will be asked to participate in fundraisers throughout the year to offset the costs of supplies for meetings, community service projects and snacks. Some special events/trips may have a cost for those who choose to participate. All High School Teens welcome!
